Our client, a high-growth active ETF platform, is redefining how investors access alpha. With a strong foundation and ambitious growth plans, they are looking to hire a Portfolio Manager to lead the launch and management of a US Financials-focused active ETF.
This is a unique opportunity for a high-conviction stock picker to step into a leadership role that goes far beyond portfolio construction. The successful candidate will be instrumental in launching, managing, and promoting a flagship product – acting as both a strategist and a spokesperson for the fund.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
Construct and manage a high-conviction, actively managed portfolio of US Financials equities – in particular US Asset Managers (Traditional Equities, Private Equity, Private Credit, Listed VC)
Research & Strategy:
Provide deep fundamental research, sector outlooks, and macro insights to support stock selection and strategic positioning.
Product Development & Launch:
Partner with internal stakeholders to design and launch the ETF – from concept to go-to-market strategy.
Client & Sales Support:
Work closely with the distribution team to articulate the investment process and product value proposition to institutional investors, advisors, and platforms.
Media & Marketing Engagement:
Represent the product externally across financial media, client webinars, and industry events and conferences.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in equity research or portfolio management, with a clear focus on US Financials.
Candidates with previous experience in Private Equity, or Private Credit are welcome to apply.
Demonstrated ability to generate alpha through bottom-up stock picking
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
