Job Description:
We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Developer with a strong background in Java and AngularJS to take an existing long term project and implement new features and eventually transition to a more modern tech stack.
Note: we are specifically looking for experience in AngularJS (the original version < 1.8.3), not the newer Angular (version 2 – 19.2).
Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing applications using technologies including: Java 17+, AngularJS , JQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, J2EE, ORMs, Eclipselink, Maven, JAX-RS, IOC, DI, Rest Web Services, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, WildFly, NPN, Bower, MS SQL Server
Research and prototype complex design solutions
Develop and implement UIs and APIs for modern web applications
Build reusable components and front-end libraries
Develop well-structured, well-documented code
Participate in code and design reviews
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Must have experience in:
Working with Multi-tier/layered Architectures
Implementing CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)
Understanding and working with IoC and DI design principles
Must have worked with SSO providers and authentication frameworks such as OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC),and/or Okta
Bonus experience:
Working with clients to understand their needs, gathers requirements through questioning and analysis, and then translate those needs into actionable plans and solutions
Migrating large monolithic projects to micro services
Experience in Insurance (Health) industry
English proficiency:
Must have strong English reading/writing skills and ability to understand complex requirements (written in English).
The ability to speak good English is not required. Client and internal team can speak spanish. But they must be able to comunicate in writing in english.
