As a Capability Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to provide critical analysis and testing in support of operations and business objectives. This is a position that affords you the ability to drive processes, quality, and improvement initiatives. By reviewing and testing business requirements and utilizing your sharp analytical skills to fulfill the needs of the business and/or clients, you will have an impact on healing the health care system.

Primary Responsibilities:

Complete UAT (User Acceptance Testing), test plans, and execute test cases for assigned application

Supports test script development, data preparation, and test execution

Analyze and dissect business requirements, system requirements, technical specifications, and Medicare/CMS policies to create test plans / test cases

Drives test objectives related to business logic functions, usability, and design of the application

Acquire and maintain working knowledge of GPS UI, PNDT (Provider Network Disruption Tool), M3P, MIS (M&R Management Information System)

Maintain knowledge of M&R LOB for billing and enrollment processing, including DSNP.

Maintain knowledge of PCP (Primary Care Physician) processing and maintenance within GPS and other applications

Meet process targets and achieve test execution goals

Create and deliver test results presentations

Report, prioritize, and track all defects to resolution

Address business needs / requests

Develop and maintain working relationships with individuals across a variety of functional areas

Facilitate or assist with group meetings, provide agendas and follow up with meeting minutes

Act as the point of contact for UAT Testing, providing end to end testing, support integration testing, including incident identification, and understanding, and following up with remediating test action plans

Participate in the process design and support project implementation teams in process improvement activities

Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools

Collaborate with internal and external business partners to develop test scenarios for preventing member issues and to decrease the overall number of escalated member issues in each market

Ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of functional experience in the GPS application

Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)

Proven excellent communication, time / project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills

Proven history for successfully prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines

Proven to possess a professional, approachable, positive, team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

Currently working in UHC Operations & Experience

1+ years of experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test, and implementation)

Experience with Provider Network Disruption Tool (PNDT) and/or M&R Management Information System (MIS)

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or Quality Assurance Testing experience

Experience with SQL

Experience with CA Agile Rally

Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology

Knowledge of Defect Life Cycle and Defect Management

Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations at different levels of the organization

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
