Position : Business Development Manager – Remote

Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities to enhance WGU’s reach and enrollment.
Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage relationships with corporate partners, institutions, and industry leaders to create collaboration opportunities.
Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase enrollments, sponsorships, and corporate training programs.
Brand Awareness: Promote WGU through networking, events, and digital outreach to strengthen its presence in target markets.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare business proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, admissions, and academic teams to align business development efforts with institutional goals.

Required Profile – Skills & Qualifications:
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business strategy, sales, and revenue generation.
Networking & Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders.
Sales & Negotiation Skills: Ability to pitch ideas, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
Market Analysis & Strategy Development: Experience in market research and strategic planning.
Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage partners and stakeholders.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and digital marketing strategies.
Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently and drive business objectives in a remote environment.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management.
Experience in higher education, EdTech, or online learning is an advantage.
Proven track record of achieving growth targets and developing high-value partnerships.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Salary: USD 1,000 per month (excluding allowances).
