LegalUp is a bold and fashion-forward legal start-up incorporated in England and Wales. Founded by a solicitor of England and Wales, Legalup offers legal and related services to clients in the UK and beyond. We’re currently in the exciting phase of business development and transition and we’re looking for a flexible, proactive, and entrepreneurial Legal Assistant to join us on this journey. Legalup is in the early stages of growth and development. The role is ideal for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and helping shape the direction of our operations and services.
Your Role Will Include:
Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda and legal opinions
Drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts
Drafting legal claims and defences, establishing a case strategy, and articulating factual and legal grounds
Researching regulatory frameworks and compliance matters in various jurisdictions
Assisting in operational tasks: market research, setting up professional tools (email, systems, etc.), contributing to website and content development
Writing articles, assisting with client development, and supporting strategic growth initiatives
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
Holds a law degree (at least, LLB or equivalent)
Has excellent written and spoken English (C1 level or higher)
Has strong legal research and drafting skills
Communicates clearly and professionally
Is tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and general technologies
Brings an entrepreneurial mindset and thrives on independence and initiative
Is adaptable and willing to work with legal systems that may differ from their own experience, especially the law of England and Wales
Russian language (preferred but not essential)
Has no criminal record involving intentional crimes

Compensation:
Part-time position (20 hours/week)
Monthly salary: Competitive, depending on qualifications and experience
