As a Senior Capability Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our ability to deliver products to the market and effectively manage internal business functions. Your primary responsibility will be to align capability management with our business and product strategies. This will involve designing and developing effective capabilities, as well as managing the capability portfolio throughout its lifecycle to ensure maximum impact on our business or across the entire enterprise. Additionally, you will leverage market insights to monitor trends and the external landscape, informing our capability strategies and customer use case scenarios. The success of this role depends on delivering sustainable and financially sound solutions that address specific problems, enabling successful product delivery to external customers or improving internal business function performance. You will also be responsible for driving adoption of these solutions among internal business clients and defining the future direction of capabilities to support our overall business strategy and identify new opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:
Align capability management with business and product strategies to ensure effective delivery of products and efficient management of internal business functions
Design and develop features that address specific problems and contribute to successful external product delivery or improved internal business function performance
Deliver sustainable and financially sound solutions that solve specific problems and support successful product delivery or internal business function performance
Drive adoption of capabilities among internal business clients, ensuring their understanding and utilization of the solutions
Address business needs / requests: Define the future direction of features to support our overall business strategy and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
Develop and maintain working relationships with individuals across a variety of functional areas
Facilitate or assist with group meetings, provide agendas and follow up with meeting minutes
Participate in the process design and support project implementation teams in process improvement activities
Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of functional experience in health plan environments
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Proven excellent communication, time / project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Proven history for successfully prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
Proven to possess a professional, approachable, positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test, and implementation)
Experience with CA Agile Rally
Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology
Knowledge of Defect Life Cycle and Defect Management
Demonstrated to deliver presentations at different levels of the organization
Currently working in UHC Operations & Experience

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
