Workflow & Systems Optimization Manager (Remote)

GC Realty & Development is seeking a Workflow & Systems Optimization Manager to oversee and enhance the operational systems that power our remote property management team.
In this role, you’ll lead a team responsible for critical backend operations-from lease renewals and utility coordination to billing reviews and license tracking. Your mission: streamline workflows, maintain consistency, and drive performance across the board.
This is a role for someone who excels at managing people, improving processes, and keeping operations moving forward-especially in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership
Manage a remote team covering key operational functions: renewals, utilities, collections, license compliance, billing approvals, and maintenance coordination support
Set clear expectations, guide priorities, and maintain accountability across the team
Process Development & Optimization
Design and refine SOPs to improve accuracy, turnaround time, and efficiency
Document workflows and ensure adoption through training and oversight
Performance Monitoring
Track KPIs and workflow metrics to evaluate individual and team performance
Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and implement system-level improvements
Cross-Department Collaboration
Work closely with leasing, maintenance, customer service, and accounting to ensure aligned execution
Troubleshoot breakdowns in communication or handoffs between departments
Operational Stability
Provide coverage during peak workload periods or system transitions
Ensure continuity and support during staff changes or unexpected challenges
What You Bring
5+ years in operations roles, with at least 3 years managing teams
Experience leading in a remote work environment
Proven ability to develop systems and standardize workflows
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on measurable outcomes
Excellent communication and organizational habits
Comfort navigating multiple software tools and platforms to drive results

Background in property management or real estate operations
Familiarity with systems like AppFolio, Podio, or similar tools
Experience building and sharing documentation via tools like Loom or Notion

Hourly Pay: $11.00-$15.00 (USD) Paid Weekly

Annual Performance Bonus: Up to 5% of wages (Effective 2025 calendar year)
