Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Leadership: Own feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand-over on small scale power generation, renewables and network upgrade projects
Contractor & Team Management: Manage and mentor multi-discipline contractor teams through all phases. Establish on-site frameworks, foster skills development, drive accountability and ensure scope and quality standards are met
Safety & Compliance Oversight: Apply intermediate expertise in the Electricity Network Safety Management System (ENSMS) under national regulations. Implement zero-harm practices, conduct audits and maintain full compliance
Status Reporting & Risk Mitigation: Produce regular, concise updates on milestones, deliverables, dependencies and risks. Proactively identify issues and coordinate mitigation actions to keep projects on track
Multi-Service Coordination: Orchestrate overlapping contractor services-civil, electrical, mechanical-to deliver seamless on-site works in remote and challenging environments
Procurement, Tendering & Contracts: Lead strategic procurement activities, manage tender processes, negotiate contracts and establish supplier panels that deliver long-term value
First Nations & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Traditional Owners and local stakeholders to respect heritage, meet environmental requirements and foster positive community outcomes
Who You Are
Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline
Ideally exposure to PlanView System or similar Project Management applications
Significant experience in Utilities and Renewable Energy Space
Sound knowledge of energy systems planning principles and financial analysis evaluation principles
Extensive experience delivering energy-systems projects (generation, renewables, transmission/distribution)
Intermediate ENSMS knowledge under Electricity Network Safety Regulations
Proficient in navigating heritage and environmental approval frameworks
An effective communicator who partners respectfully with First Nations communities
Flexible and enthusiastic about working from our Bentley office or embracing regional life at any of our six WA depots
