Responsible for leading the capability enablement strategy team in creating and maintaining a continual pipeline of new clients through strategic oversight on implementing value-based digital solutions across the organization. Provide leadership guidance on strategy techniques, market analysis and communication plan and approach that incorporate best practices with proven outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage correspondence and technology transformation and digital capability strategy

Lead and develop team of Strategy Leads and Analysts

Enhance business fulfillment operations through optimization of automation capabilities, digital capabilities, and vendor opportunities

Lead and facilitate cross business and technology transformation governance

Connect with business organizations to identify related use cases and requirements and work with technology on solutioning options

Support capital business cases and delivery of materials

Build relationships with clients to ensure our solutions are interoperable and sustainable

General Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities for new enterprise-wide / large-scale initiatives and develop the strategy to deliver on that initiative in support of the long-term solution

Accountable for the execution of deliverables and commitments end to end across program initiatives

Leveraging cross-functional teams, support execution of transformational, multi-year enterprise-wide initiatives, using relationship-building and collaboration skills

Align with delivery teams and technology to oversee development of cost-effective, reusable, transformative solutions using technology and innovation

Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization

Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, and processes

Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements

Supervise direct reports that are leading some of the transformation activities.

Anticipate/manage customer needs/expectations; proactively develop strategic solutions

Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues

Review work performed by others; provides recommendations for improvement

Bring leadership and a growth mindset to drive change

Drive appropriate levels of risk management and identify opportunities to remove barriers to success

Provide explanations and information on the most complex issues

Prepare and facilitate governance and leadership status sessions

Provide appropriate directional/strategic guidance to strategy team

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices

Experience in business operations or project management experience

Experience within business operations, analysis of business process and workflows, process mapping or a combination of all

Experience with Employer & Individual, Medicare & Retirement and/or Community & State lines of business.

Knowledge of organization policies and procedures and ability to apply principles to solve everyday problems in a variety of situations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to ever changing priorities

Self-motivated, able to work in a team, and demonstrates the ability to work independently

Systems or equivalent work experience, combined with demonstrated experience utilizing continuous improvement methodologies in a corporate environment to observe, analyze, implement process improvements

Proven ability to apply continuous improvement methods and cognitive thinking to comprehend, calculate results, analyze data and reason with stakeholders to problem solve and make educated business decisions

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human capital modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

Demonstrated ability to lead the activities of others as well as manage and monitor results

Project management skills with experience leveraging enterprise resources

Proven ability to prioritize effectively and drive results with sense of urgency

Solid planning skills, combined with project management execution

Exceptional attention to detail and extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Analyze and investigate potential staffing needs or impact as it relates to supporting new or enhanced services

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
