This is an excellent opportunity to join the enterprise network operations team of a leading telecommunications provider on a temporary contract basis until 31/12/2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for the hands-on support and delivery of network and security services across customer LAN, WAN, WLAN, and firewall environments. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of technologies and high-profile clients in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Acting as the first escalation point for network and security incidents.
Managing fault resolution and root cause analysis for enterprise clients.
Executing customer requests and change activities across managed infrastructure.
Supporting the configuration and deployment of Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti hardware.
Monitoring network support systems and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
Providing on-site and remote technical assistance and working within customer premises and data centres.
Participating in an on-call rota to provide 24x7x365 support.
Assisting with new customer service transitions and documentation.
Contributing to datacentre operations including cabling, remote hands, and maintenance.
Participating in technical projects and supporting service innovation.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) or be willing to achieve certification within 12 months. Experience working with IP routing and switching, along with hands-on knowledge of firewalls and wireless technologies, is essential. Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti/Unifi products is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to service delivery.
