About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in our production accounting team. You’ll deliver accurate and insightful work that makes a significant difference for our clients, handling everything from preparing and reviewing financial statements to managing complex tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with Australian standards
Support junior team members, helping them grow professionally
Stay updated on Australian tax law and accounting standards, and share insights with the team
Continuously look for ways to improve workflow and service delivery
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 3 years of Australian tax experience in a public practice firm
Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles
Proficient with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.
SMSF knowledge, ClassSuper experience, preferred
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
