Senior Android Engineer – Remote
What You’ll Do
Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to develop innovative and user-friendly Android applications.
Own the full development lifecycle-technical design, coding, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
Review code and design docs, provide feedback on product specs, and set best practices for developer workflows.
Optimize mobile applications to handle high traffic and data-intensive operations efficiently.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Stay updated on the latest Android features, trends, and best practices to enhance app development.
Who You Are
8+ years of experience in Android development using Java or Kotlin.
2+ years working in enterprise-scale environments (200+ employees).
Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Strong software engineering fundamentals-design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
Proven experience building mobile applications at scale (1MM+ users).
Able to develop high-performance, data-intensive, and fault-tolerant applications within smartphone constraints.
Passionate about creating well-designed, scalable software that impacts users globally.
BS in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Offer Details
Full-time contractor (No benefits)
Remote role, full-time (40 hours/week)
6+ hours overlap with PST required
