Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer 2 to join a high-impact team working on enterprise-level integrations and identity management solutions. This role is ideal for candidates with 4 – 7 years of experience in application/software development, who are comfortable working independently and bringing initiative to complex challenges. This is a remote position based out of Austin, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.
Test and evaluate new software solutions.
Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, business analysts, and systems analysts.
Contribute to application integrations with SailPoint IdentityIQ and single sign-on systems including OKTA and Azure.
Develop and maintain API services to handle access policies and requests, integrating with external applications.
Minimum Required Skills & Experience:
6 years – Agile/Scrum-based solution delivery experience.
6 years – Experience collaborating with Architects, Service Delivery Managers, and Project Managers on SailPoint IIQ deployments.
4 years – Hands-on SailPoint development (workflows, rules, connectors, policies, configurations).
4 years – OKTA single sign-on integration experience.
4 years – API development for access control and integration with external applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years – Experience working with Texas State Agencies.
Work Conditions:
Remote/Telework position; candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Austin, TX for potential on-site meetings.
Must be self-directed, proactive, and capable of operating under limited supervision.
