An international company specializing in the development of modern operating systems for hosting providers is looking for a Technical Director to join its team!
The organization has been on the market since 2009. The company’s products are used by thousands of companies around the world, they have over 4,500 clients including Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, Zoom and others.

Your tasks on the position:
Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Guide the team in balancing speed of execution with the high quality standards expected by both internal stakeholders and end users, through well-defined and repeatable engineering processes
Serve as a key escalation point across stakeholders, while remaining hands-on with code—reading and writing as needed to support the team
Build a culture of strong technical ownership, resulting in scalable, reliable, and high-quality products and services
Set technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of high-performance, scalable, and dependable software solutions
Promote a healthy, collaborative team environment, helping to shape an outstanding workplace where top talent thrives
Also required:
10+ years of engineering experience in a medium or large software company, including 4+ years managing high-performance teams
Ability to code in Python or Go on a professional level
Experience managing a 20+ person engineering organization
Strong technical craft mastery and engineering discipline
Deep organizational capabilities, especially in regards to influence, collaboration, and communication
Demonstrated ability to hire and grow senior leaders and managers
English C1+
Will be a plus:
B2B experience at a product-led growth company
Background in the Security field
Startup and growth experience leading fast-growing engineering teams with a set of sub-teams and managers
Experience leading an engineering department through a transformation phase
Experience managing remote / virtual-first teams
