The National Statistics Office (NSO) is seeking motivated and articulate individuals to join our dynamic team as Part-Time Casual Remote Telephone Interviewers. This fully remote opportunity offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to nationally significant statistical surveys. What You’ll Do As a telephone interviewer, you will be conducting structured interviews with selected individuals as part of various national surveys. All surveys are conducted via telephone and supported through a laptop. You’ll work from the comfort of your home, with the support and guidance of the NSO team. Key Features •Part-Time Casual Position •Fully Remote – Ability to work from any quiet environment •Flexible working hours between 08:30hrs and 12:30hrs, and 16:00hrs and 20:00hrs (Monday to Saturday, excluding Sundays). •Attractive compensation: o Approx. €20 per hour o Paid training session of up to 6 hours on your first day at €10 per hour (paid upon completion of the project and contract) We Provide •Comprehensive training to help you get started with confidence •All essential tools and digital resources, such as a mobile phone, laptop, and/or tablet, along with access to our secure data collection IT system. •Ongoing support from NSO supervisors throughout your assignment Requirements •Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese •Strong attention to detail and ability to follow set instructions •Confidence using computers, Microsoft Office 365 Suit and web-based tools •Access to a quiet environment, and internet connection •Previous interviewing or customer service experience is considered an asset, but not compulsory •Prospective applicants are kindly requested to read and abide by the requirements in the link below How to Apply: If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, fill out our Recruitment Form before noon (CET) of Friday, 11th July 2025.
