Our client, a leading company in the architectural and construction industry based in Ireland, is seeking an experienced and driven Bid Manager to join their growing team remotely.
With a recent surge in domestic tender submissions and plans for rapid international expansion 🌐, the company is looking for a skilled professional to support the Head of International Operations in managing and eventually leading their bid team.
🛠️ About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of International Operations 👨💼, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, competitive bids for projects across multiple markets. The role will begin with a period of onboarding to learn company systems and procedures 🧭, with the goal of taking full leadership of the bid team over time.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong background in the construction or architectural industry 🏗️ who is passionate about strategy, detail, and visual presentation 🎯.
📋 Key Responsibilities:
📝 Assist in the preparation and submission of bids for national and international projects
🤝 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and review bid content
✅ Ensure accuracy and consistency across all documentation and submissions
📊 Track and analyse performance of submitted bids to improve future outcomes
👥 Over time, assume leadership of the bid team and oversee day-to-day bid operations
🔍 Ideal Candidate Profile:
English speaker to Communicate with British and International Clients
🏗️ 5+ years of experience in a bid management role within the architectural or construction sector
🎯 High level of accuracy and attention to detail
✍️ Excellent written communication and editing skills
💻 Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe InDesign
👁️ Strong sense of visual design and presentation
🤝 Effective stakeholder management and team collaboration skills
🧠 Organised, data-driven, and capable of managing multiple bids simultaneously
