Overview:
Marketing Specialist
The Marketing Specialist serves as the key marketing strategist and main point of contact for assigned campuses and admissions teams across the company. This role is responsible for executing local marketing event plans, partnering with admissions to build local, mutually beneficial relationships, and providing key competitive and market opportunity insights back to the internal marketing team. Using these available tools, the Marketing Specialist drives performance within their territories to exceed budgeted enrolls/starts for each campus.

Salary Range: $65K to $70K Annually Responsibilities:
Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables
Partner with stakeholders and identify key local employer/industry partners to increase market penetration
Create supporting collateral and spotlights highlighting graduate and partner success stories
Capitalize on opportunities for each campus’s unique set of education programs.
Assist with developing local marketing event plans for each campus, with an eye on driving performance
Compile local competitive intelligence and shares with marketing team for strategic integrations
Collaborate with various teams to create localized direct marketing content (emails, landing pages, and flyers) that drives enrollment intent in assigned campus markets
Execute communication plans for new campus openings/expansions
Assist the public relations team for campus openings and/or program launches/expansions
Collaborate with internal teams to develop campus-specific creative content to drive performance
Assist with basic design, editing, and proofing of marketing materials
Drive alignment with brand, accessibility, and compliance guidelines
Monitor, schedule, and support social media channel engagement and online events
Prepare a monthly review of media performance
Review with leadership teams
Develop new opportunities to drive additional performance, including social media content performance

Qualifications:
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or other relevant field (required)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience crafting, executing and measuring the performance of local marketing plans (required)
Experience copywriting for a variety of print and digital channels (preferred)
Experience managing social media content calendars and channels, preferably in healthcare or higher education settings (strongly preferred)
Experience presenting key findings and strategic recommendations to cross-functional leaders (preferred)

Basic to Intermediate level proficiency with productivity software (MS Office)
Basic proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
Collaborative and team-oriented with exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills
Solid understanding and familiarity with online marketing and social media best practices

Work Environment
Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
This position is designated as Remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
