We are seeking a new addition to our account management department with experience in account management. The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering client relationships and driving business growth. This position involves coordinating internal resources to maintain and expand the client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Act as the main point of contact between the client and the company.
Understand the client’s business goals, needs, and challenges.
Account Planning:
Develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and propose solutions.
Customer Needs Assessment:
Conduct in-depth assessments of client needs and expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
Product/Service Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with the company’s products or services and industry trends.
Educate clients on product features and benefits.
Quoting and Pricing:
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
Negotiate terms and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve client concerns, issues, and complaints promptly.
Escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.
Prepare regular reports on account performance and forecasts.
Client Retention:
Develop retention strategies to ensure long-term client loyalty.
Monitor client satisfaction and take proactive measures to address potential issues.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Provide feedback to the company on market developments.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to meet client needs effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in account management, sales, or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Adaptability and willingness to learn about new products and industries.
Compensation:
Annual base salary $45,000 to $55,000
