What are we looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Supply Chain Manager to establish and lead our group-level supply chain function. In this role, you will develop and implement robust S&OP processes, collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance and Operations, and drive cost optimization while ensuring on-time, high-quality deliveries across our pan-African network. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in B2B supply chain management within Africa, strong analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to operational excellence.
What do we expect from the candidate?
As a pivotal member of our Supply Chain leadership team, you will own the end-to-end design and execution of our group supply chain strategy. You will partner closely with Country GMs, Sales Managers, Procurement, Finance and Operations teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, optimize logistics, and implement best practices. Your proactive leadership will ensure adherence to key performance indicators, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the successful rollout of innovative route-to-market solutions.
Key responsibilities:

Design, implement and strengthen the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to drive accurate forecasting, demand management, production planning and procurement coordination.

Collaborate with country leadership to align forecasts, purchasing plans and inventory targets, preventing stockouts and minimizing overstocks.

Define and monitor clear KPIs for service levels, cost management and working capital efficiency across local and central teams.

Lead initiatives to reduce supply chain costs, optimize warehouse operations and enhance route-to-market capabilities.

Manage logistics, including sea freight, transportation contracts and customs processes, ensuring compliance with global best practices.

Oversee new product introductions and support formulation and blending activities as required.

Utilize data analytics and digital systems to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Build and mentor a high-performing, cross-regional supply chain team and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

If you possess…

University degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field.

Minimum 7–10 years of progressive supply chain experience in a B2B environment, preferably within Africa.

Proven track record in S&OP, inventory management, production planning and cost reduction.

Experience managing logistics and distribution of bulk goods in international settings.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency with supply chain IT systems.

Fluent in English.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in the chemical or food industries.

Prior exposure to formulation or blending operations.

Knowledge of ESG principles and sustainable logistics practices.

Experience working in challenging or remote locations across Africa.

Fluent in French.
