We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Senior Business Systems Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives across business and IT teams. This role is pivotal in translating business needs into actionable data solutions, with a solid emphasis on data mapping, requirements gathering, and cloud-based analytics. Familiarity with Snowflake, Azure, and AI initiatives is essential. Individuals in this role will perform analysis and serve as business liaison to understand and refine business and data requirements. They provide technical support in developing reporting solutions that are cost effective and meet users’ requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, document risks and assumptions, develop the delivery timeline and approach

Serve as a liaison between business clients and IT to gather business requirements and convert them to technical reporting requirements

Conduct discovery sessions to elicit and document requirements

Gather requirements from multiple stakeholders; identify and understand business needs; elicit and clearly document requirement artifacts like user stories, source to target data mapping and use cases

Create and maintain user Stories and features; participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies

Analyze large data sets using SQL and other tools to support reporting and analytic needs

Support UAT by documenting test criteria, executing test cases and validating results

Contribute to AI-related initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent reporting

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field with at least three to four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Healthcare experience preferred)

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst

3+ years of experience with requirement analysis and documenting user stories and creating data mapping

2+ years of experience with SQL

2+ years of experience with querying large databases, report generating and presenting findings

1+ years of experience with Snowflake, Azure or AI technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in cloud technologies or AI/ML

Experience with tools like SAS or Power BI

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in business intelligence

Proven technical expertise regarding data models, relational databases and data mining

Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders

Proven excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills

Demonstrated effectiveness in a fast paced rapidly changing environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
