NetSuite Administrator – Support Operations Specialist
Working hours: 8-5pm pacific
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented NetSuite Administrator to serve as our primary support specialist responsible for managing day-to-day system operations. This role focuses on triaging incidents and tasks, maintaining system integrity, managing user access, and ensuring optimal performance of our NetSuite environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of NetSuite administration while providing responsive support to business users.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as first responder for NetSuite support tickets, triaging incidents and tasks based on priority and impact

Manage user access, roles, and permissions to maintain proper security controls and compliance

Monitor system performance and address issues proactively to minimize business disruption

Coordinate and implement bi-annual NetSuite releases and updates

Maintain documentation for system configurations, customizations, and standard operating procedures

Process user provisioning requests including role assignments and permission modifications

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, errors, and user-reported problems

Perform regular system maintenance activities including data cleanup and optimization

Support data imports, exports, and basic integration management

Create and maintain saved searches, reports, and dashboards to support operational needs

Assist with testing system changes, updates, and new functionality

Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on NetSuite functionality

Document and track recurring issues to identify opportunities for permanent resolution

Requirements

5+ years of experience in NetSuite administration

Strong understanding of NetSuite security model, user roles, and permission management

Experience managing support tickets and prioritizing work in a structured environment

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking

Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Proficiency in creating and modifying saved searches, reports, and basic workflows

Understanding of NetSuite data structure and relationships between record types

Experience with system monitoring and performance optimization

Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders

Troubleshoot issues related to integrations for Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets and tax modules

Qualifications

NetSuite Administrator certification required

Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteScript (basic understanding), and CSV imports/exports

Knowledge of best practices for ERP system administration and support

Strong understanding of P2P, OTC, FAM, Tax modules

3+ years within a service industry setting and is proficient with basic finance modules

3+ Experience with IT service management tools and ticket systems

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
