As a Staff Engineer, your technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural decision-making will be critical in building systems that scale and last.
The gross monthly salary for this position is: 1,890,000-2,570,000 HUF
As a Staff Web Backend Engineer at Bitrise you will
Build web services in Ruby and Go that are highly scalable and fault-tolerant
Lead technical efforts and cross-team initiatives that improve reliability, performance, and developer experience
Actively shape the technical roadmap, collaborating with engineering and product leadership
Operate backend services in production, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to continuous improvement via incident reviews and postmortems
Guide teams through the product development process, breaking down complex problems into manageable deliverables
Mentor and coach engineers across teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence
Proactively seek out and drive changes that make Bitrise a better product and place to work

Experience refactoring and maintaining complex systems
You’ve played a key role in shaping engineering culture or driving technical change at a broader organisational level
Strong understanding of data modeling and database performance (relational and non-relational)
Experience working with scalable infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies
Familiarity with enterprise-level security and compliance requirements
You have experience in engaging proactively with users or stakeholders to drive product value
