We are looking for fluent Cape Verdean Creole and English speakers to provide remote interpretation services across a range of professional contexts, including medical, legal, insurance, and government-related calls. The role is fully remote and involves facilitating accurate and confidential communication between individuals with limited English proficiency and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consecutive interpretation via phone or video between Cape Verdean Creole and English.
Ensure accurate, clear, and professional communication in various settings.
Maintain client confidentiality and comply with service quality standards.
Requirements:
Fluency in both Cape Verdean Creole and English (spoken and written).
Excellent listening, memory, and communication skills.
Stable internet connection with at least 12 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload (wired connection required).
Availability to work 8 hours per day (Monday to Sunday shifts, scheduled in advance).
Residency in Portugal with valid documentation (either a EU passport or a valid residence permit in Portugal)
Training & Equipment:
Remote training provided (12 working days, compensated).
All necessary equipment delivered, including PC, monitor, keyboard, headset, webcam, and accessories.
