The RoleBecome a Teacher Recruiter at EDGE Tutor International and help shape our outstanding team. Your job is to find, assess, and onboard top Filipino teachers and connect them with learners worldwide.

Responsibilities:
Understand the ideal teacher profile as defined by our clients.
Actively source qualified online teachers through job boards, social media, teaching hubs, referrals, and other innovative channels.
Conduct thorough candidate assessments including interviews, skills testing, and demo lesson evaluations.
Create engaging social media content and campaigns to build brand awareness and attract applicants.
Facilitate pre-service orientations to set expectations and prepare candidates for their new role.
Clearly explain service agreements, policies, and engagement terms to new hires.
Support teacher trainees throughout onboarding and training to ensure a smooth transition.
Track candidate progress and maintain consistent communication until they are fully deployed.
Organize regular onboarding events and welcome activities to promote a positive candidate experience.
Collaborate with the team to refine recruitment strategies and continuously improve processes.
Provide insights and feedback to help shape hiring practices and talent engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, Communications or Equivalent
At least 2 years experience in end to end recruitment with a strong focus on evaluating skill-based or teaching-related roles (e.g. teachers, content writers, editors, or similar roles)
Experience in recruiting volume ESL teachers is considered as an advantage.
Experience conducting behavioral and skills-based interviews across multiple formats
Highly proactive in candidate engagement, follows up consistently, and shows ownership over the recruitment funnel
Excellent English communication skills
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and capable of using recruitment tools to support a thoughtful, judgment-based screening process
Work Set-up and Requirements
Schedule: May require flexible hours but with focus on mid-shift (start of shift at 12NN or 1PM)
Workdays: Five-day workweek with two rest days.
Location: Fully remote
Desktop/laptop with Intel i5 (10th gen), 8GB RAM or higher
Minimum 25 Mbps internet speed with backup connection
Backup power supply for at least 8 hours
