Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform infrastructure upgrade tasks for vSphere 8

Work with other infrastructure teams and application end-users to perform various infrastructure maintenance tasks

Assess situations and perform proactive analytics for change to minimize issues before they evolve

Perform various infrastructure expansion tasks as it relates to VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell

Conducting basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell issues

Expected Hours: 25-30 hours a week, weekend work will be required, shifts may adjust per need

Qualifications:

Strong background in virtualization and hardware troubleshooting, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal clients to resolve issues

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex network issues

Working knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting VMware vSphere products

Working knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco UCS

Working knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Dell hardware

Managing & troubleshooting vSphere environment

Work with hardware vendors for break-fix remediation

Additional Information:

Duration: 6-month contract opportunity

Work Model: 100% remote supporting EST time zone

Hours/Shift: Resource expected to work around 30 hours per week

Non-Production: Monday – Thursday between 8PM-12AM EST

Production: Friday – Sunday between 8PM – 7AM EST

Rate Range: $45-50/hr. W2 (based on experience)
