About Your New Job
Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of financial reporting matters and regulations in the US with an ability to apply this knowledge to practical and commercial situations;
Work closely with our clients’ and assist in maintaining and developing key client relationships;
Support the coordination and coaching of junior team members to ensure their personal development and that standards are consistently
Support the team to develop new business opportunities and assist with related proposal processes;
Take full responsibility for leading client engagements and appropriately managing the respective budgets;
Take responsibility for ensuring each client engagement is performed to our high-quality standard
Deliver and prepare comprehensive training and support materials for on-site client training programmes/workshops;
Actively help to develop high quality collateral on financial reporting matters for presenting to clients, conferences and publications;
What skills you need
3 years+ accounting experience in a large accountancy firm and then have 1 year within a statutory accountant role in Industry
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience translating to/from US GAAP and IFRS;
An ability to perform effective research and convert complex accounting matters into clear and comprehensible deliverables;
