Maxibook is an early-stage AI startup rethinking how scientific knowledge is delivered, organized, and personalized.
We are building an Adaptive Knowledge System powered by dynamic knowledge maps and LLM-driven adaptive content, with an MVP expected by Q1 2026.
Our initial focus is on universities, research institutions, and publicly funded initiatives, with future expansion into the corporate HR sector (onboarding, continuous training, skill-gap reduction).
We are entering the fundraising phase and looking for co-founders who want to build something transformative from the ground up.
Tasks
CFO – Chief Financial Officer / Co-Founder (Funding & Institutional Relations)
Lead fundraising strategy (public + private)
Manage relationships with universities, research centers, and investors (EU + global)
Secure Horizon Europe, PNRR, national/regional grants
Design financial models, sustainability plans, and legal setup for early-stage growth
Be the institutional face that builds credibility with funding bodies and investors
COO – Chief Operating Officer / Co-Founder (Operations & Partnerships)
Translate vision into execution: roadmap, milestones, partner coordination
Act as operational backbone of the startup, working side by side with the CEO
Build and maintain relationships with C-levels and institutions worldwide
Oversee project execution, remote team alignment, and partner success
CTO – Chief Technology Officer / Co-Founder (Architecture & Tech Leadership)
Own the technical vision and drive the end-to-end architecture
Lead the dev team, coordinate milestones, and ensure robust MVP delivery
Stack: React, Next.js, Supabase/SQL, MongoDB, Firebase, LLM (Mixtral/LLaMA/OpenAI)
Build scalable cloud-native infrastructure on GCP (Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Redis, BigQuery)
Innovate on LLM integration, prompt design, adaptive flows

Requirements
CFO
Proven track record in fundraising (preferably in edtech / research-driven startups)
Experience with grant negotiation (EU Horizon, PNRR, national/regional programs)
Financial and legal expertise in early-stage startups
Ideally: prior exit or leadership in VC-funded projects
COO
Strong leadership and operational management skills
Fluent English, excellent communicator, able to represent Maxibook with institutions
Experience in partner management, project execution, and stakeholder relations
Ability to turn strategy into measurable results
CTO
Solid hands-on experience with React/Next.js, Supabase/SQL, MongoDB, Firebase
Strong knowledge of LLM integration (OpenAI, Mixtral, LLaMA, Ollama)
Prior work in scalable architectures, cloud-native systems, distributed data
Ability to lead a small dev team toward rapid MVP launch
