The Opportunity:
DDEF is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and well-connected International Fundraising Partner to join
us on a consultancy basis. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate development professional to make a
significant impact by securing vital resources for life-changing projects in Bangladesh.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of securing substantial funding from international donors, foundations, and philanthropists. This role is commission-based, offering a unique
“success-based” remuneration model.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Mapping & Strategy: Identify and research potential international donors (foundations,
corporations, institutional donors, high-net-worth individuals) whose priorities align with DDEF’s
mission.
Proposal Development: Lead the development of high-quality, compelling project proposals and grant
applications. Each secured project grant must be a minimum of USD 100,000.
Networking & Relationship Building: Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with key
contacts in the international development and philanthropic sectors.
Fundraising Campaigns: Design and execute innovative fundraising strategies and campaigns to
mobilize resources for DDEF’s programs.
Collaboration: Work closely with the DDEF program team in Bangladesh to understand needs and
develop impactful project concepts.
This is a performance-based consultancy role.
Contract: A formal contract will be executed between DDEF and the selected partner, detailing the commission structure, payment terms, and deliverables before the commencement of work. No salary will be provided until the first grant is successfully secured.
The partner is expected to cover their own operational costs until the first fund is disbursed.
Education Requirements:
Masters
A Master’s degree in any discipline from a reputable international university.
Experience:
At least 5 years

Skills:
Exceptional proposal writing and communication skills in English.
An extensive network of contacts within the international donor community.
Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
Ability to work independently, remotely, and with a high degree of self-motivation.
Deep understanding of the international development landscape and funding trends.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in international fundraising for nonprofit organizations, with a demonstrable track record of successfully securing large grants (USD 100,000+).

Compensation & Other Benefits:
A competitive monthly salary of USD 1,500 – 2,000 will be paid to the partner from the secured project funds.
