The Opportunity at a Glance
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations in a healthcare organisation working within the NDIS framework. This is a full-time, remote role for Philippine-based candidates, employed under a proper PH setup.
To succeed, you must bring at least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounts support experience in the Australian market, with proven Xero proficiency. Prior NDIS sector experience is required, given the billing and compliance requirements specific to this sector.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Create, review, and issue sales invoices based on data or templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NDIS requirements
Monitor due dates, follow up on outstanding payments, and update invoice statuses in Xero
Perform daily or weekly bank reconciliations, matching transactions to invoices, payments, and expenses
Review, upload, and code accounts payable bills in Xero with accurate documentation
Support expense claim reconciliation, payment runs, and approval workflows
Act as the first point of contact for invoicing queries, investigating and resolving disputes professionally
Generate weekly and monthly financial reports using Xero and spreadsheets
Collaborate with the Accounts Manager on reporting, compliance, and process improvement
What We’re Looking For – You’re the Perfect Fit if You:
Have at least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounts support experience in the Australian market (non-negotiable)
Are highly proficient in Xero for invoicing, reconciliations, and payables (non-negotiable)
Bring prior NDIS sector experience (highly desirable)
Possess strong accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Communicate effectively with clients and team members in writing and verbally
Are dependable, organised, and able to manage competing deadlines
What Sets You Apart – You’ll Shine Even Brighter With:
Experience handling multi-entity accounts or multiple business streams
Familiarity with GST treatment and Australian tax requirements
Exposure to care management software such as eZaango or similar platforms
A proactive mindset with suggestions for process improvements
Work Schedule & Employment Terms
Full-Time | Monday to Friday (6am to 3pm PH time)
Remote role for Philippine-based candidates
Proper Philippine employment setup (not freelance or project-based)
Php 50,000 – 60,000 gross monthly salary
