Job Description
Our team is on the search for a Remote English Teacher with a love for teaching and a knack for engagement to join our team. This is an online position that involves teaching English to speakers of other languages around the Asian Continent.
Job Summary
As a Remote English teacher, your responsibilities will include preparing lesson plans, presenting learning material, and tracking your student’s performance.
Your key skill will be communicating lessons despite the language barrier.
If you love teaching and are interested in interacting with non-English speakers, we would love to meet you. Teaching experience is an added advantage however, all fluent English speakers are encouraged to apply since training and certification is provided.
Responsibilities
Preparing and delivering lessons to improve students’ reading, writing, and conversing skills.
Developing lesson plans and teaching materials for each class session
Monitoring student progress and adjusting lessons as needed to improve results
Maintaining a classroom environment conducive to learning
Assessing students’ learning progress, identifying areas of need, and developing individualized learning plans to help students meet academic goals
Ensuring that your equipment is in good working condition at all times.
Requirements
Fluent in English
Laptop with a good internet connection
Minimum of high school certification (Degree is a plus)
Quiet Teaching environment
Quality webcam
Teaching experience is an added advantage
Friendly and engaging
Please be aware that certification involves a financial investment.
Salary: Fluent English speakers will be paid a minimum of $5-7 per hour. A typical work week is 20-30 hours. A month’s wage can range from $400-560
