An exciting new bushveld campsite is looking for a GENERAL MANAGER
This bushveld campsite is tucked between two of Botswana’s most iconic wildlife destinations – Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park, making it a prime launchpad for safari adventures. Located on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta, it offers unfenced access to roaming wildlife, including elephants and lions, creating an immersive wilderness experience.
Candidate Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or similar
3+ years in a General Manager role
Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams across cultures
Comprehensive operational expertise across all departments
Deep appreciation for refined guest service and experiential hospitality
Proficient in property management systems and digital operational tools
Resilient and adaptable to life and work in isolated bush environments
Candidate Responsibilities:
Oversee the full spectrum of lodge operations
Establish and maintain elevated service standards, delivering tailored, high-touch guest experiences
Build, lead, and nurture a multicultural team in a remote wilderness environment
Manage financial and operational systems
Ensure all lodge practices align with conservation principles, sustainability goals, and community engagement initiatives
Spearhead pre-opening preparations, from system implementation to staff onboarding and operational readiness
Live-in position
Salary: R50-R75kpm Highly dependant on experience and qualifications
Starting date: December 2025/January 2026
