A luxury group of lodges is seeking an EXECUTIVE CHEF for their lodge in Okavango Delta, Botswana.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the culinary team at a stunning safari lodge. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level chef who is comfortable working independently in a remote, luxury environment. You’ll be responsible for upholding high standards of food quality and presentation, while also training and mentoring kitchen staff to provide service excellence.
Candidate Requirements:

At least 3 years of relevant experience as an Executive Chef.

A passion for creating exceptional food and a great understanding of different world cuisines.

Experience in luxury lodges or villas in other African settings.

Good administrative abilities, including cost management, ordering, and reporting.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene principles, including HACCP.

Strong leadership skills, with experience in training and managing kitchen staff.

An understanding of the unique challenges of working in a remote location and the logistics involved.

Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. Basic Setswana is a plus.

A proactive, driven, and honest individual with career ambitions.
