Website Developer / Engineer (Tourism Company – Japan)
Location: Nishi-Shinjuku (Hybrid)
Language: English (Japanese at least business level preferred)
About Us:
We’re a growing tourism company in Japan focused on creating fun, memorable experiences for English-speaking travelers. We’re expanding fast and need a web developer who can help level up our online presence.
What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain our website and booking pages
Create clean, responsive, user-friendly pages
Improve site speed, SEO, and overall performance
Integrate tools like booking systems, payment platforms, and CRMs
Fix bugs, manage updates, and roll out new features
Work with our marketing and design teams to bring ideas to life
What We’re Looking For
Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Familiar with frameworks like React, Vue, or Next.js
Some backend knowledge (Node.js, PHP, or similar)
Comfortable working with APIs
Eye for design and user experience
Self-starter who communicates well and can work independently
Nice to Have
Experience with WordPress or other CMS tools
Background in e-commerce or booking systems
Interest in travel or Japan
