Job Summary:

The Tool Forecasting Specialist is mainly responsible for working with Tooling dept. to guarantee solid forecasting for P&E tool budgeting year over year. O&G and DP outages are in scope and need to be served with optimized set of tool kits in order to be ready to serve planned and transactional activities. The Tooling Forecasting Specialist will also own design and implementation of forecasting models and procedures fully integrated with current GSI budgeting milestones. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work on new forecasting models and methodology based on O&G and DP outages and installation planning and on transactional estimates

Work on a cross business approach (O&G, DP and possibly others) to synergize investments on common tools (like boroscopes, laser aligners and others) to save on P&E investment needs

Support on identifying standard kits to be proposed to our customers for outages where GSI is engaged.

Support on building yearly P&E budget for new tooling globally and identify best localization based on estimated regional demand

Document and properly communicate forecasting results to regional tooling team and support Sourcing on identifying best Suppliers based on identified volumes and localization

Besides yearly budget, the Tool Forecasting Specialist will provide estimates on demand trends for main tool kits on a periodic basis

Perform other duties as assigned

Travel may be required

Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Associate’s degree in Finance or Business related field preferred.

7 years of planning operation experience or equivalent experience is required.

Experience with data entry into Oracle Financial modules is preferred
