**Overview**
Ecco was born as an independent press in 1971, and in 1999 became an imprint of HarperCollins. Today, Ecco publishes literary fiction and general nonfiction to poetry, cookbooks, and literature in translation, by authors including Nobel Laureates, Pulitzer Prize winners, and National Book Award recipients among others, such as José Andrés, Margaret Atwood, Anthony Bourdain, Charles Bukowski, Nicole Chung, Kathleen Collins, Patrick deWitt, Deborah Eisenberg, Louise Glück, Kathleen Hanna, Cristina Henríquez, Juhea Kim, Jonathan Lethem, Imani Perry, Patti Smith, Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney, Natasha Trethewey, Shelby Van Pelt, and Kevin Wilson.
**Responsibilities**
+ Design social media graphics and advertisements using Canva
+ Assist in building content for frontlist and backlist social media campaigns
+ Research audiences and build influencer lists
+ Optimize metadata and marketing copy
+ Assemble materials for major sales meetings and award submissions
+ Fulfill mailings and giveaways as needed
**Qualifications**
+ Candidates who areavailable to workin afull-timecapacityin 2025 or 2026are eligible for this internship;open to rising seniors,recent graduates, master’s students, orentry level candidates withup totwo yearsofwork experience.
+ Candidates must be availabletoworkremotelyfortwo dayseachweek, totaling14 hours,fromFebruary3 – April 11, 2025.Compensation for thisinternshipis$18 per hour.
