About the role
Codematic is seeking a dynamic and strategic Academy Director to be responsible for establishing, leading, and managing the Codematic Academy. The role involves creating and executing strategies to ensure the academy’s success, growth, and commercial viability. The focus is on the academy’s operations, curriculum, faculty development, and student experience, with an emphasis on preparing students for real-world challenges in the tech industry.
Your Key Responsibilities…

Academic Leadership:

– Vision and Strategy: You will develop and implement a strategic vision for the academy that aligns with Codematic’s goals and industry trends.
– Curriculum Development: You will oversee the creation and continuous improvement of a cutting-edge curriculum that meets industry standards and addresses the evolving needs of students.
-Quality Assurance: You will monitor and enhance teaching quality, ensuring lesson plans are effective and student performance is optimized.
-Learning Environment: You will foster an inclusive, innovative, and engaging learning environment that supports student success and professional growth.

Business Operations:

-Strategic Planning: You will create and execute comprehensive business plans to drive the academy’s growth and sustainability.
-Financial Management: You will establish and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.

– Community Engagement: You will act as the face of Codematic Academy at industry and community events, building a strong brand presence.
-Stakeholder Relations: You will cultivate and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, industry partners, and community leaders.
-Communication: You will serve as the chief spokesperson for the academy, promoting its achievements and initiatives.

People Management:

-Recruitment and Development: You will lead the recruitment, training, and development of academy staff, including teachers and support personnel.
-Performance Management: You will set clear performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to ensure high standards are maintained.
-Employee Retention: You will implement strategies to retain top talent and address any performance issues promptly and effectively.
