Accountant – Remote (Durban or Pietermaritzburg)
A reputable UK client is seeking an experienced, ACCA-qualified Accountant with completed ACCA articles. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality service to a diverse client portfolio, working alongside a team of both senior and trainee accountants.
Responsibilities

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies

Preparation of corporation tax returns, partnerships and personal tax returns

Oversight of workflow, budgeting and planning of work for clients

Collaborate closely with managers and partners to ensure client expectations and deadlines are adhered to

Any other ad hoc work as required

Requirements

ACA, ACCA or QBE with at least 3 years’ experience in a practice environment

Excellent communication skills, highly organised with a proactive approach to problem solving

Experience using Iris would be preferred, but not essential

Knowledge of various accounting software, including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
