Our client is a Digital company which is opening an office in Cyprus and seeking an Accountant. The position primarily involves handling day-to-day financial operations related to payment service providers for a casino, reconciling transactions, calculating fees, and preparing cash flow and settlement reports.
Salary Range: EUR 40,000 – EUR 45,000 (based on experience) over 12 pays.
Responsibilities:
Financial Data Management: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial information for internal use.
Budgeting & Investment Support: Assist in budgeting processes and managing the company’s investment portfolio.
Accounting Operations: Oversee accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Performance Analysis: Evaluate company performance using financial data and provide actionable insights.
Forecasting & Planning: Conduct financial forecasting to support business planning and decision-making.
Risk Management: Assess financial risks and recommend strategies to minimize them.
Process Improvement: Identify financial inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and provide advisory support.
Team Supervision: Oversee and mentor junior accounting staff.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in accounting, financial supervision, or related roles.
Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of fundamental and advanced accounting principles.
Cost Accounting & Reporting: Proficiency in cost accounting and financial reporting methods.
Financial Analysis: Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment.
Software Skills: Familiarity with financial software, MS Office, and Google tools. Experience with Xero is an advantage.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong numerical aptitude with a keen analytical mindset.
Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to communicate financial data clearly.
Organizational & Leadership Skills: Ability to manage tasks effectively and lead teams when needed.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or a related field.
