Our client, a leading global technology company with offices in Dublin, is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Chartered Accountant to join their team as an Accounting Manager. This is a 6-month, fully remote contract with an immediate start.
As part of the Accounting team, you will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager and lead a team of three qualified accountants. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with proven experience in people management.
This remote role offers excellent flexibility and work-life balance, with the chance to join a top tech organisation. Initially a 6-month contract, with potential for a long-term role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Manage the month-end and quarter-end close process, including variance analysis.
Lead balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide critical accounting information to key stakeholders at quarter-end.
Oversee complex accounting transactions, partnering with stakeholders to ensure proper treatment.
Develop and maintain consistent global accounting processes.
Collaborate closely with FP&A Reporting, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Compliance teams.
Project-manage and support team members, ensuring effective collaboration and task completion.
Address audit requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Skills and Competencies:
Extensive experience in intercompany and treasury accounting processes.
A self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Professionally qualified accountant with 4+ years of experience, ideally within a multinational organisation.
Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal direction and guidance.
Previous people management/team leadership skills
