The Corporate Accounting Team is looking for an Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant to join their team. They are looking for someone who is excited to roll up their sleeves and get to work in both direct collection efforts, as well as cash application for customer payments.
The Impact You’ll Make:
Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant
Own the AR Cash Application process
Support the collections process by reaching out to customers via email and phone calls
Support the accounting team as needed through month end close process including creating and posting journal entries and assisting with reconciliations
Manage credit card deposits on a daily basis and identify and apply wire fees to select customer payments within NetSuite
Work within our client’s standardized operating policies & procedures.
Escalate issues to management in a timely manner
Administrate the accounts receivable email address and research customer inquiries
Build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders across the company
Provide additional accounting support as needed.
Who You Are:
You are a strong collaborative team player who can establish and maintain working relationships with both your immediate team and other stakeholders within our client
You are agile and can manage multiple projects simultaneously and can respond to changing priorities
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work asynchronously and manage time effectively
Provide additional accounting support as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
Basic Qualifications:
2 years experience in Finance, Accounting or similar degree / field is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics for Accounts Receivable and Collection activities
Proficient in Excel, experience with NetSuite preferred
International and multi-currency experience preferred
Willing to work 10PM – 6AM Manila Time or US Pacific Coast hours (PDT)
