Position : Admin and Finance Officer – Addis Ababa
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin and Finance Officer to oversee day-to-day accounting functions, administrative operations, and office management. The ideal candidate will ensure effective internal coordination, financial accuracy, and smooth functioning of the office environment to support the company’s logistics operations in Ethiopia and Djibouti.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Finance:

Prepare and maintain financial records, journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.

Manage accounts payable/receivable, petty cash, and bank transactions.

Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payment follow-ups.Prepare monthly financial reports, payroll inputs, and tax declarations.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax offices, and Ethiopian Revenue Authority.

2. Administration:

Maintain and update employee records, leave trackers, and contracts.

Handle administrative procurement (office supplies, utilities, etc.).

Support HR tasks such as recruitment logistics and onboarding documentation.

Liaise with government bodies and third-party service providers when required.

3. Office Management:

Ensure smooth daily operations of the office including cleanliness, supplies, and IT coordination.

Manage schedules for meetings, internal communications, and office events.

Supervise office assistant(s), drivers, or support staff (if any).

Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or service company.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Peachtree,

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Amharic.

Integrity, confidentiality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
