Summary of Position:
This is a part-time, remote support role based in Mexico City or Estado de México. The position assists with administrative, logistics, and international trade operations for a distribution team. Morning availability (8 AM to 1 PM) is preferred. The role will begin as half-time with potential to grow into a full-time position. Initial training will be provided by the current operations team member, and responsibilities may evolve over time.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and operational support for daily logistics and internal coordination
Manage and track shipments, assist with documentation, and communicate with freight providers
Support import/export documentation and compliance tasks
Handle data entry, order processing, invoicing, and internal communication
Work collaboratively with the operations lead and gradually assume more independent responsibilities
Key Skills:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Google Workspace familiarity is a plus
Basic understanding of logistics or international trade processes
Educational & Other Requirements:
Must live in Mexico City or Estado de México (remote)
Must be proficient in English (spoken and written)
Prior experience in logistics, administrative support, or supply chain is preferred but not required
Comfortable working independently and remotely with a high level of reliability
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-Time: 8 AM to 1 PM, Monday to Friday
Monthly Salary: MXN $12,000 to $15,000 gross with full legal benefits
May transition to full-time based on performance and business needs
