Job Title: AI Engineering Lead
Location: Remote (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Join Unifonic as an AI Engineering Lead, where you’ll lead a team of engineers, actively contribute to building software, and drive innovation in communication and engagement solutions. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices while managing your team’s development process.
Your responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of developers.
Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to plan and prioritize work.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural principles.
Facilitate continuous learning and growth within the team.
Tackle challenges, risks, and opportunities for system improvements.
Job requirements:
7+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in SMSC gateways and SMPP protocol.
5+ years of experience in Python, Go, or Java and database management (MySQL, Cassandra).
Experience with high-volume solutions and queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
