Job Description:
The mission of CJTF-OIR (CISSC), by, with and through regional partners, is to militarily defeat the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the Combined Joint Operations Area in order to enable whole-of-coalition governmental actions to increase regional stability. The Coalition strategy acknowledges that the best forces to win the fight against ISIL are local, indigenous forces such as the Government of Iraq (GoI) Iraqi Security Forces (ISS), and the Kurdish Peshmerga. In Syria, the Coalition continues to search for viable partners in opposition forces focused on fighting ISIL.

Minimum Qualifications

Education – Associates Degree OR four years direct relevant intelligence analyst experience

Experience – at least four years analytical experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies and requires former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A OR USMC – 0205 Master Analyst, 0211 – Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, 0239 Intelligence Analyst, OR U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist OR USAF – 14NX Intelligence Officer, 1N0XX Operations Intelligence or 1N771 Human Intelligence Specialist OR other equivalent DoD Joint Service or other Service specialty codes PLUS

Clearance – TS/SCI PLUS

Special skills or qualifications (all required) –

Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development

Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills

Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of CJOA requirements

Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate complex information

Required Skills:

Associates degree OR four years direct relevant intelligence analyst experience

Former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A; OR

USMC 0205, 0211, 0231, 0239; OR

US Navy Intelligence Specialist (IS); OR

USAF 14NX, 1N0XX, 1N771; OR

Other equivalent DoD Joint Service or other Service specialty codes.

TS/SCI clearance

Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate complex information

Desired Skills:

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in either CI/HUMINT or CT and political/military analysis in other AORs
