Angular Developer- Contractor – Remote IT – Software Development

ENVIRONMENT:
Our client is seeking an Angular Developer to join their Johannesburg team. In this role, you will focus on the Client Application and be responsible for implementing user interface features, enhancements, and changes as outlined by the Product Manager. You will collaborate closely with Senior Developers, the Product Manager, and other members of the development team to ensure seamless delivery. Additionally, you will analyse feature descriptions and specifications, plan and document tasks in Jira, and provide accurate estimates for the required effort to implement these solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Experience working with the Angular Framework using the Visual Studio code IDE
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Typescript, Javascript as well as responsive design frameworks
Experience developing user interfaces according to specifications and tasks
Adhere to software engineering best practices to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Experience of Version Control with Git
Experience using Jira or any other task management tool.
Additional expectations:
On implementation of a task, documentation of test cases against the task will be required.
Perform testing on implemented tasks as required
Perform troubleshooting and error replication to isolate issues within the application
Understanding the Document Object Model (DOM), browser APIs, and web standards are key to ensuring compatibility and performance across different browsers.
