You will ensure safe and reliable AMO is delivered to the global AMO organization in a cost effective and effective manner without harm to people or the environment. This role focuses specifically on Completions & Wellbore Intervention within the Oilfield Services portfolio of Baker Hughes .
As an AMO Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Own workshop HSE & Quality for your respective location(s)
Attending all morning meetings for (SD Demands, Shipping Times, TB Alerts, HSE Alerts, TPI’s, etc.), pull in delegate(s) as required
Being the primary link between Service delivery, SD Technical and the Workshop(s). All needs/changes for the Workshop from SD and SD Technical should pass only through the AMO Mgr or delegate(s) in order to keep the shops laser focused on production and limit timely disruptions
Ensuring all SD Demands/Alerts are documented per eMtJC and posted in the workshops to drive production as dictated via Shipping Times (ideally via electronic Job Boards “Brilliant Factory Cell Control Center & Plant Control Center”)
Ensuring full compliance to PPE and ensuring Tool Box talks are facilitated each morning by Assembly Maintenance &Overhaul Leads (if applicable) and that all content is effective and sign in sheets completed and filed (including any 3rd Party & Field folks if working in shop)
Ensuring daily cleaning (6S Checklist) and preventive maintenance is being carried out on all equipment in the workshop/yard (IE: forklifts, HPU’s, pressure washers, wash water systems, test cells, tumblers, torque machines, etc) and maintain records. (Incl. 3rd Party Inspection areas)
Spending most of the day in the facility(s) to ensure all Assembly Maintenance &Overhaul expectations are being met; HSE & Quality), Production Output, Efficiency (OT) and Company Values.
Fostering a positive, respectful and inclusive work environment with yourself and across your Assembly Maintenance &Overhaul team and with all Baker Hughes and external employees that interact with your Assembly Maintenance &Overhaul team at all times; instilling our Company Values throughout all our day-to-day activities and communications.
Ensuring all equipment being shipped to the Job Site, 3rd Party site or internal transfer is done safely, accurately, on-time and properly secured with logistics
Reviewing and support employees with Assembly Maintenance &Overhaul career progression. Communicate any opportunities to local HR and Regional Assembly Maintenance &Overhaul Leader for support driving favorable results forward
Ensuring the proper Shop Supplies are being ordered consistently on items for workshops and manage usage to prevent abuse/unnecessary waste
Reviewing CMP status for all AMO employees, determine if any gaps and make immediate plans to close out. Elevate any support needed immediately to local Region AMO Leader for support driving favourable results forward
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree
Have at least 8 year’s service, operations & Assembly Maintenance &Overhaul related experience
Be able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
Have the analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems.
Be proficient in reading and interpreting maintenance documents, drawings, parts lists and following formal procedures.
