What You Will Do:
Build dashboards and develop business insights, including management dashboards, regular commercial reports, marketing intelligence reports and ad-hoc analysis
Develop statistical and propensity models in merchant segmentation and vertical business strategies for maximizing the sales and revenue growth, product profitability analysis, etc
Conduct in-depth analytical studies combining external research data and internal business analytics to facilitate leadership team & senior management decisions
Lead routine business performance reviews/meetings to enable shared understanding of commercial momentum and data-driven decisions
Analyze business data regularly to identify business opportunities and operational improvement opportunities
Develop critical metrics and dashboard to measure performance of merchandising campaigns, and derive actionable insights to fine tune strategies and planning
Provide first line support for local data issues with close communication with central data team, maintain best practices for Data Management and provide support where necessary for the data projects
Design and maintain data dictionary/catalogue documents. Identify and maintain data owners and stewards of the company’s information assets.
Collaborate with the Tech team in creating technology platforms across Data Lake / Data Visualization / Data Analytics Solutions
What You Will Need:
Minimum 4 years in an analytics role in digital, product or marketing with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business, Economics or other related disciplines
Data and analytics experience, including data acquisition, management, modeling, visualization and storytelling. Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau.
Strong business acumen and strategic orientation to distill relevant insights, effectively communicate and influence decisions.
Experience in driving sales performance analysis, marketing analysis and business reviews in e-commerce or digital related industries
Project Management Experience – clarity of thought and ability to juggle multiple work streams and work cross functionally towards aligned goals
Ability to work independently and strategically, open to tackling new issues and sounding out new ideas
Proactive teammate who thrives in a cross-functional, cross-cultural, hybrid (face-to-face and remote) team environment
Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural background and in different time zones
A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude that’s not afraid to work in a fast-paced & uncertainty environment independently when required
Being familiar with CRM and digital analytics tools (e.g. google analytics) would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
