KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver Expert Patient Care: Provide high-quality emergency and primary medical care to personnel and partners in both in flight and ground based environments. Assess, stabilize, and treat patients in time critical situations.
Drive Quality Assurance and Medical Administration: Participate in clinical audits, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with protocols and international standards.
Promote Starlite Aviation Group Medical Capabilities: Represent and advocate for Starlite’s medical services to clients, partners, and stakeholders, building confidence in our expertise and enhancing our operational reputation.
Maintain Medical and Non-Medical Equipment: Conduct regular checks and ensure that all emergency kits, monitoring devices, medications, and support tools are fully stocked, up-to-date, and mission ready.
Support Onsite Hydration and Wellness Programs: Assist in implementing hydration and basic wellness programs to maintain the health and performance of deployed teams in challenging environments.
Engage in Continuing Medical Education (CME): Keep skills sharp by participating in ongoing training, attending relevant courses, and staying current with medical advancements ensuring top-tier patient outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
The following is essential for this position:
A University Degree in Medicine in accordance with EU Commission directive 2005/36/EC or acceptable to an EU recognized equivalent in the following countries: Israel, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America, South Africa, Australia, New-Zealand, Switzerland and Norway.
A Diploma in Emergency Medicine OR Anesthesiology OR Intensive Care Medicine within the European Union or in the following countries: Israel, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America, South Africa, Australia, New-Zealand, Switzerland and Norway.
Certificate of an attended training in Emergency Medicine followed in the European Union or in the following countries: Israel, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America, South Africa, Australia, New-Zealand, Switzerland and Norway.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Certification of training as Aviation Healthcare Provider/Flight Medicine (AHCP).
2 Years of experience in Emergency Medicine/Anaesthetics /Intensive Care.
Clinical exposure with more than 2 years post-graduation experience gained within the Clinicians scope.
Working knowledge of the principles of Emergency Medicine and Primary Health Care.
History of working with either rotor or fixed wing operations.
Working Conditions
Primarily based at Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, with potential travel to remote and austere environments.
Involves frequent operations aboard rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, including aeromedical evacuations under emergency conditions.
May require irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
