Competitive Our marketing client is looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will work closely with our data scientists and other stakeholders to design, develop, and implement data solutions in Azure cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data solutions that meet business needs
Design, develop, and implement data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and data transformation processes in Azure cloud environment
Collaborate with data scientists to build machine learning models and integrate them into production data pipelines
Create and maintain documentation for data solutions, including data pipelines, data models, and data dictionaries
Optimize and tune data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability
Work with DevOps team to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Azure cloud technologies, data engineering, and data science
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure cloud technologies
Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus
