● Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend systems and APIs using the GO programming language.
● Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Strong testing skills are a MUST have – unit testing is the foundation.
● Use GOs built in testing.
● CI – run integration, continuous integration.
● Knowledge of GCP, use the workflow service, familiarity deploying GoApps within GCP.
● Must be comfortable in container environments and have a good understanding of Kubernetes.
● Proven experience as a Backend API Engineer, with a focus on developing scalable and efficient backend systems.
● Strong proficiency in the GO programming language and experience with related frameworks and libraries.
● Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.
